Introducing the Rainbow Babysitter AU. A FNAF slice of life AU in which a moody teen, desperate for money and an excuse to be out of the house, reluctantly takes the job of babysitting an unruly, unhinged four year old child, despite not having any experience with kids (nor being a huge fan of them)

Aka, the Doublestar Duo Babysitter AU that no one asked for, but was definitely needed.

I work hard on my icons is the thing, and I know other creators do as well, they're small edits but they're still edits

It's finding the perfect screen shot, its lighting and coloring and even more!

then we put them nicely onto a rebloggable post, give people different color options and shapes, throw in lil graphics to give it a certain flair

the least you can do is like the post you take your icon from, the best thing you can do is reblog them

I stopped making icons for months because my posts would get like 13 notes (most of them likes) and yet I'd see the icon be used by more than 13 people - NONE OF WHICH LIKED OR REBLOGGED THE POSTS

I've even seen people take my icons (again who didn't like or reblog the original post) and edit them and use them for something else WITHOUT MY PERMISSION or give me credit

i feel like it says something about me, not positive, that i wrote an entire fanfiction about a guy using random pieces of metal for piercing jewelry (among other things, also piercing himself on his lonesome in the bathroom with a process not intended for it) and it ending very badly and then, within a year, decided to take a random link of metal about the right size for an earring and use a fucking pair of pliers to close it on my ear, meaning i will need to use pliers to take it off. which i just haven't done. for a year now

A good structure is something you can trust.

It relieves you from the burden of remembering and keeping track of everything. If you can trust the system, you can let go of the attempt to hold everything together in your head and you can start focusing on what is important: The content, the argument and the ideas. By breaking down the amorphous task of “writing a paper” into small and clearly separated tasks, you can focus on one thing at a time, complete each in one go and move on to the next one . A good structure enables flow, the state in which you get so completely immersed in your work that you lose track of time and can just keep on going as the work becomes effortless (Csikszentmihalyi, 1975). Something like that does not happen by chance.

if i’m not experiencing major doubt about my note-taking methods every few months, what am I doing?

no cuz you don't know how insane being a musician is. to play in tune, you could just listen if it "sounds right" (nebulous, vague, hard to get consistently), or much more effectively you can listen to overtones, which are basically secret magical notes that are activated and sound when you play the notes you're ACTUALLY playing in tune. and it is more effective, once you've trained yourself to hear them. while you're training yourself to hear them however, it's like so weird bc you're just playing two notes and Listening Really Hard to find those secret notes that you're not playing and you have to hear if THEY'RE in tune to know if the two notes you are actually on purpose playing are.
